A 25 year old jazz pianist, keyboardist and composer from Lausanne, Switzerland as well as leader of the Amter Trio, for which he composes and plays acoustic piano. The Trio mix lyrical songs and groove-oriented jazz pieces. They currently feature Matan Gov-Ari on trumpet, and have played with French violinist Didier Lockwood. Gilles was also a student at the Montreux Jazz School and studied under Swiss pianist Thierry Lang, on top of this he also studied classical piano with Argentinian pianist Erardo Vietti. A great performer and one of the bright sparks of European Jazz.
