Hailing from Argentina, world famous violinist, Alberto Lysy demonstrates his unique tone and flawless musicianship on this album of great Latin-American pieces for violin and piano. Amongst these are some world premiere recordings, most notably 6 songs by Spanish composer Manuel de Falla. The delicate sinuous melodies of Lysy’s violin found in these songs are balanced by the sharply defined structures of the piano accompaniment, masterfully played by Lorena Tecu.
