Hommage á Menuhin
Released (1996)
These are the last recordings ever made by Yehudi Menuhin, amongst these is a world premiere recording of Richard Wagner's own transcription of his song 'Traume for violin and orchestra'.
Menuhin also conducts Malcom Arnold's Concerto for violins and string orchestra op.77, which was commissioned by Menuhin and is the first time he recorded it.
Since the artist's death in 1999 there has been a special interest from fans for this record.
